CVX Compliance ("CVX," "we," "us," or "our") is a vendor compliance management platform operated through usecvx.com. We provide tools for businesses to track vendor certificates of insurance, service agreements, W-9 forms, and inspection schedules.
When you create a CVX Compliance account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as an encrypted hash — we never see your actual password). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
CVX Compliance stores the compliance data you input, including facility information, vendor records, certificates of insurance, W-9 statuses, service agreement dates, and inspection schedules. This data belongs to you and is stored securely in your private account.
When you use the AI Document Scanner feature, you may upload PDF or image files. These files are sent directly to Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis and are not permanently stored on CVX servers. Once the AI extracts the information, the document is discarded.
We collect basic usage information such as login timestamps, feature usage patterns, and error logs. This helps us improve the platform. We do not sell this data to third parties.
All CVX Compliance data is stored in Google Firebase, part of Google Cloud Platform — one of the most secure cloud infrastructures in the world, used by Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.

We strive to maintain high availability of CVX Compliance but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
CVX Compliance currently offers a free tier. If paid plans are introduced in the future, you will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to opt in. We will never charge your payment method without explicit authorization.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@usecvx.com. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
CVX Compliance reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CVX Compliance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption, arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of CVX Compliance shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold CVX Compliance harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms of Service or your use of the platform in a manner not authorized by these terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of CVX Compliance shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
